Fergana Valley Trains from Tashkent
There is no single "Fergana Valley railway station." Trains from Tashkent serve several separate cities — Kokand, Margilan, Namangan and Andijan among them — while travelers heading to Fergana city may end up on a service that arrives at Margilan instead.
Book the City You Actually Need
All of these destinations sit on the same broad rail corridor east of Tashkent, and it's easy to assume any of them will do. They won't. Kokand, Fergana, Margilan, Namangan and Andijan are five separate cities with five separate railway roles, and the fastest or first-listed train is not automatically the right one.

Which Fergana Valley Destination Do You Need?
Kokand
Best for the western Fergana Valley. The shortest direct rail journey from Tashkent, with a useful lunchtime arrival on the morning train.
Fergana
Best when Fergana city itself is your destination. Services heading there can arrive at Margilan station rather than central Fergana — check the station shown before booking.
Margilan
Best when Margilan itself, or Margilan Railway Station specifically, is what you need. A separate destination from Fergana, not just its stand-in name.
Namangan
Best for the northern Fergana Valley. Morning departures reach Namangan before lunch; later trains preserve the day in Tashkent but arrive in the evening.
Andijan
Best for the eastern Fergana Valley. The farthest of the main valley cities from Tashkent by rail — compare the through journey time before booking.
